The Lost Child: Helping Children Through Depression
Larry with be conducting a lecture and discussion group titled, "The Lost Child: Helping Children Through Depression". This will be presented at Saddleback College to the South County Directors Group, sponsored by the California Early Childhood Mentor Program. This group of early childhood school directors and administrators seek to promote education and support for it's members in developing quality and cutting edge approaches to educating children.

Monthly Discussion with Larry
Larry will be leading a monthly discussion that each month will address one of three topics, depression, anxiety, & bullying. We will have a chance to understand how these issues effect both adults and children, and ways they can be overcome. There will be opportunities to ask questions, interact, and be a part of the discussion. The first meeting will be on July 29th at TerraNova Church at 11:00 am, 7 Whatney, Irvine, Ca. 92618. The topic this time will "Anxiety; what it is and how to use it". Signups are free and can be done at One Step Ministry.

Childhood Disrupted: When Depression & Anxiety Show up in Childhood
Larry will be presenting this workshop at Saddleback Valley Community Church two times on Wednesday February 28. The first on will be from 4:45 to 5:45, and the second one will be from 6:45 to 7:45. This workshop will describe how to identify childhood depression and anxiety along with tools that parents can use to help their child cope and improve. Stress in Children and How to Help
The California Early Childhood Mentor Program will be hosting the South County Director's Meeting at Saddleback College. Larry Hamilton MFT will be speaking on how to determine if a child who is acting out is dealing with some kind of stress. Attendees will be given tools on how to manage behavior and deal with the child in light of stress. Tools will also be given to help teachers and directors come along side parents and help them explore and deal with the source of that stress
